Inspired by the memory of rescuing earthworms after the rain, this work reflects on early acts of care. It grew from the artist's recollection of gently moving still-alive worms from hot asphalt into the soil, hoping to save them from drying out.

Created during the COVID-19 lockdown, this piece was based on a collaborative sound project with students from CAFA (Beijing). The animation became a hopeful gesture toward the end of the pandemic.

Commissioned by the Digital Museum project of the Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Bochum-Wiemelhausen. The work was part of an initiative to bring art into people’s homes during the pandemic and imagines the end of COVID through visual optimism.
